[SOLVED] tinyxml2 10.1.0-1 causes encfs to fail

After the upgrade to tinyxml2 10.1.0-1, encfs no longer works

$ encfs -v /path/to/crypt /path/to/uncrypt
VERBOSE Root directory: /path/to/crypt [main.cpp:686]
VERBOSE Fuse arguments: (daemon) (threaded) (keyCheck) encfs /path/to/crypt -o use_ino -o default_permissions  [main.cpp:687]
[1]    14615 segmentation fault (core dumped)  encfs -v /path/to/crypt /path/to/uncrypt

Downgrading to tinyxml2 10.0.0-1 allows encfs to work again. Does anyone know if something changed and I should use a different option? Or is this maybe a bug in tinyxml2 (or encfs)?

P.S. for the first time, I'm stumped about where to put this post. None of the sub-forums look quite correct.

I can confirm the exact same issue and happy to help with further reporting the bug if someone tells me how to.

Just want to point out EncFS is no longer maintained upstream "This project is NOT maintained." -  https://github.com/vgough/encfs
I would encourage you to use alternatives.

Same here, thank you so much your solution. Will have to kick encfs out of my system.

Fresh encfs 1.9.5-8 is out now and it solves the issue.

Thank you, good advice. I wish there were some final update of software where they advised it had been abandoned; otherwise most people would not know.

E: It looks like Mint warns users when they install EncFS, and backintime also warns users wanting to use EncFS. It might be a good idea for Arch to present a warning as well. Obviously EncFS shouldn't be fully dropped since there are people who need to do a final decrypt before moving on.

Thank you. I can confirm the new version works for me.
