[SOLVED] Linux 6.13.6 - microcode: You should not be seeing this...

Hello, after upgrading Linux to version 6.13.6-arch1-1, I am getting the following kernel messages.

Do you get this on each boot? Also do you have the latest version of the amd microcode installed?

If it helps at all I have the same hardware and see the same messages every boot under Chimera Linux (musl libc & Clang/LLVM) with kernel 6.13.6 & their AMD µcode snapshot from 2025-01-09.

Yes, I see these messages on each boot.

Do the messages go away when you downgrade back to 6.13.5?

Triggered by c162ba4f x86/microcode/AMD: Load only SHA256-checksummed patches. Follow the commits suggestion and let upstream know the revision of microcode that is unexpected?
Edit:
Is it fixed by 058a6be x86/microcode/AMD: Add some forgotten models to the SHA check?
Which is queued for the next stable release https://web.git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linu … heck.patch.

As it there is a fix in the next stable kernel, could you give it's release candidate a try?

With Linux 6.13.7-rc1-1 there are no more such messages.
You are such quick problem solvers that I have to tell you... You guys are the best!

Upstream is aware as the fix came from upstream.
