[SOLVED] light temporary tearing with wayland (with screenshots)

Screenshots:

sample 1
sample 2

Problem:

Some applicatios, like terminal and chromium, gets temporary tearing, though not very often.
Worse, Chromium 132/133 crashes ocasionally, say about 3 times a day.
Chromium never crashes before.

Versions:

  • linux 6.13.2

  • plasma 6.3

  • kwayland 6.3.0

  • egl-wayland 4:1.1.17

  • xorg-xwayland 24.1.5

  • nvidia-open-dkms 570.86.16-2

Harewares:

Video Adapters: AMD Radeon 780M & nVidia 4070 mobile

Possible Causes:

The problem appears recently, both for plasma 6.2 and 6.3, some possible causes as as below:

  • The command below has been run (I can't remeber what packages have been removed by it.)

pacman -Qqd | pacman -Rsu --print -
  • amd-ucode & firmwares are upgragded

  • nvidia driver are updated

Question:

How to fix the tearing?

It's like a general problem, not chromium specific.
After some updates, it doesn't appear now.
