Touchpad not working / bluetooth reset in each restart

Hi,
So I just made the jump from Linux Mint here, I'm going to be studying IT in the future and everyone told me how much you could learn with Arch.
I just finished a manual install with a friend's help, but I seem to have two issues:

1) Laptop's touchpad is not working:
libinput list-devices | grep -i touchpad

Device: Elan Touchpad

journalctl -b | grep -i touchpad

Mar 11 14:04:51 archlinux kernel: elan_i2c i2c-ELAN0634:00: Elan Touchpad: Module ID: 0x0007, Firmware: 0x0002, Sample: 0x0002, IAP: 0x0001
Mar 11 14:04:51 archlinux kernel: input: Elan Touchpad as /devices/platform/AMDI0010:00/i2c-0/i2c-ELAN0634:00/input/input16

I'm using a Lenovo Yoga 7 with GNOME. I haven't seen any physical buttons that could lock a touchpad. I've tried otherwise diverse Fn+Fx combinations, just to test if the touchpad had a lock button.

2) Each time I restart the laptop, I need to restart systemctl bluetooth. Bluetooth doesn't work and if I go to the GNOME GUI I cannot even turn it on.

I've been through the forum a bit but haven't found anything. I'm willing to learn, please don't hate the noob smile
Also, should I

Re: Touchpad not working / bluetooth reset in each restart

One question per topic is our preferred model, but your bluetooth issue is probably very easy to solve .

Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/bluetooth.service; disabled; preset: disabled)

You have to enable the bluetooth service, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Bluetooth#Installation .

For the touchpad issue look at https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Laptop#Touchpad

EDIT :

If you have already solved the issues, please clarify how and prepend [Solved] to the thread title (edit first post)

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Re: Touchpad not working / bluetooth reset in each restart

I saw your report, but instead of us locking the thread, please edit your post and mention what you did to solve your issue and mark it as [SOLVED] by editing the title in your first post.

(Chances are you figured systemd services can be enabled, but what was the issue with the touchpad?)
