This issue happens hardly ever, but, now that has happened about 3 times in a month, I'm reporting it. I have a laptop with a usb A port where I connect my USB hub. o this usb hub I have connected my headphones dongle, my mouse dongle, my keyboard dongle and my audio interface. I was just coding and suddenly, all the mentioned devices stopped working. The usb hub has a led indicating that it is connected, and it is indeed. I tried changing the usb port the hub is connected to. I connected a usb flash drive, and it is not being opened. I'm dual booting Arch and Windows, and this never happened on the second OS. Any ideas on how to debug this?

3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.
Then try to disable https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_ … utosuspend - "usbcore.autosuspend=-1"
nb. that userspace powermanagement services like TLP can and will override this at runtime and you'll have to change the configuration there (as well)

Fast start was already disabled. I didn't know about that Kernel parameter though. Now it is disabled. Thanks for helping. I'll mark this as solved and will post an update if it is not.
