Hi everyone, I'm currently using cmus and for the most part, songs display their titles properly. However, Some of my songs display the full path to the song instead of just the name. I'm not really sure what the cause is or if its something I accidentally turned on.
This is what my cmus looks like:

However, it's only some songs. Most of them display properly like such:

Turns out the problem was that song files with no tags have their entire path displayed. The issue was resolved after tagging the songs with easytag and kid3-qt,
However I would still be nice to know if there is a way to have cmus not display full file paths for un-tagged songs. Surely there is a way?

There is a way. You can modify `altformat` variables. They are configured to full path by default.
