First of all, Greetings ![]()
im using KDE 6 with Wayland:
i just riced all my kde setup and its almost perfect now, so enjoyable.. but just one thing;
due to my job i need to take many screenshots.. kde.. spectacle of course, the thing is that
when i click on select region, the screenshot includes the spectacle window it self, this is after
turning on a kwin script (Aurora) for a Window Open/Close effect..
i did some research and i see a post in kde git about a bug in spectacle that is this very thing and devs acknowledged it but it just never got merged.. its been 1 yr
so im wondering how could i blacklist/ignore org.kde.spectacle windows from rendering effects?
there is a kwin script also that is called MACsimize6 and that in configuration has a input for ignore.. but Aurora effect does not have that in configuration ![]()

Greetings ![]()
While I would not rule out that some of our forumers may be able to assist directly, I felt I could at least mention that https://bugs.kde.org/ or https://discuss.kde.org/ may be ideal for such a specific issue and could bring attention to the bugfix.
Good fortune!

just for future readers, i ended up delaying the screenshot by 1 second and that gives time for the effect to disappear, not ideal but good workaround.
