I have a Decklink Duo 2. I have the decklink and decklink-sdk AUR packages installed. The DesktopVideoHelper.service is started with no errors and running lspci I can see the card is listed:
...
01:00.0 Multimedia video controller: Blackmagic Design DeckLink Duo 2
...However, both the BlackmagicDesktopVideoSetup and DesktopVideoUpdateTool says "No devices available". I've looked at the comments in the decklink AUR and tried all the suggestions including: adding ibt=off to the kernel parameters, building older version (12.9) of the Decklink drivers, and updating the card's firmware (it said it was up to date).
A note on building older version of the drivers, I just edited the PKGBUILD file, .patch file, and I don't remember what else to get it to build the 12.9 version. It's very possible I screwed up somewhere though I've uninstalled and switched back to the newest driver that the AUR package uses (14.4.1).
The card works and I verified by reformatting the computer with Pop OS 22.04 before switching it back over to Arch. On Pop OS it was detected by both tools and I was able to use OBS Studio to both capture and playback. Also tried to update the firmware there but it also said it was up to date.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
