Dear Community Forum,
I wanted to build a custom arch Linux ISO using multiple steps and approaches below:
1. Pacstrap (to prepare basic root file system)
2, mount + chroot (to install packages, add users and groups, enable services such as NetworkManager)
3. Use GRUB only to manage uefi and bios boot (hybrid)
4. Use EROFS (Maximum compression for the file system image)
5. Xorriso (to generate the iso image)
6. Should be able to directly load the iso to a virtual machine, from a cd or usb as well
Is there a guide on how to do above without the requirement of using mkarchiso or automated approach? A guide would be helpful. Thank you.
Warm Regards,
