Please fix a.s.a.p.
There's certainly nothing we can do here.

Download works fine for me. Read the comments for that package, it looks like there is a regional firewall used due to DDoS attacks. Post a comment and ask the maintainer to allow downloads from your region.

that's not how things work around here. anyways if you did some research (as we are all encouraged to to) you would see in the AUR page that there are regional download issues affecting individuals. you aren't the only one! See if you can download the file via other means and edit the PKGBUILD so you can properly build it with the file already in your PKGBUILD's folder

please use special prepared source tar instead of auto-generated
already shows the bad quality of this software and a reason to not use it - or better yet: fork it and provide proper
it's also quite a no-go to the maintainer rather sticks to a self-hosted repo behind some way to aggressive firewall and let the github one rot in limbo
the only option to support such is to not at all to show the maintainer this way what they do is against the community

There is no response from the package's author since 2 days for unblocking
Can the mods contact the person responsible?
Thank you.

The user doesn't appear to have a forum account, try contacting them directly through the email address listed on the 2nd line of the PKGBUILD.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
