Hello Arch Forums, first-time poster here, please forgive my breaches of forum etiquette.
I have an issue on a fresh install of Arch running DWM via startx wherein when I open any graphical program (e.g. Discord, Firefox, qutebrowser) my system noticeably slows down, my mouse cursor become freeze/becomes laggy to the point of being completely unusable and an Xorg xinit subprocess begins using 100% of one or two threads on my cpu as shown by htop. The behavior isn't present upon starting DWM or when opening st, only GUI programs.
The thing is, I have a nearly identical setup on the Thinkpad T61 I am writing this on so naturally I tried the mouse (Logitech G502 Hero) and generic wireless one on both cpmputers and both work on the ThinkPad and exhibit the same behavior on the PC.
Both are running
6.13.8-arch1-1I've disabled mouse acceleration as per this Arch wiki article and disabling debouncing as per this reddit thread but alas, no dice.
Any help or suggestions welcome, thanks all!
