inkcape object-copy lasts "forever"

Hello,
if i want to put a newly selected object into the copybuffer with RMB-copy or ctrl-c this procedure lasts about 12(!) seconds.
Sometimes inkscapes splashscreen is shortly shown during this period.

Linux al 6.14.1-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon, 07 Apr 2025 19:59:13 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Inkscape 1.4.1 (93de688d07, 2025-03-30)

Any ideas or proposals ?

If so, it may be also in recent reports in that project. https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=clipboard

Thanks, but i'm not using kde-plasma but xfce.

OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Host: Aspire 8951G V1.04
Kernel: 6.14.1-arch1-1
Resolution: 1920x1080, 1920x1200
DE: Xfce 4.20
WM: Xfwm4
WM Theme: Default
Theme: Adwaita-dark [GTK2/3]

XFSETTINGSD_NO_CLIPBOARD=1 xfsettingsd --replace

resp. put "XFSETTINGSD_NO_CLIPBOARD=1" in the session startup script ?
