Hi, not long ago I downloaded some games that are not from Steam, they are games from flatpak, Sober and Minecraft Bedrock launcher, I decided to connect my PS4 controller to them, which is not generic because I checked it and bought it from a store that sells legitimate Playstation products, and they detect it as if it were an Xbox controller or a generic one, but Steam detects it as a PS4 controller.
Btw i use USB as a connection method because I don't have Bluetooth on my PC.

Steam has their own Input layer that sometimes has better/other detection than whatever is otherwise implemented, so this "could" be normal. What is it you're actually asking? Do you want "games" to detect it as PS4 explicitly? Does it matter? Do you lack some functionality?

Well, I want it to be detected as a PS4 because it bothers me that it shows Xbox controller buttons. Well, it matters to me because the Xbox controller doesn't have some things that the PS4 controller has, so when it detects it as an Xbox, the things that the PS4 controller has don't work.
