"Sorry, but device renaming is not supported" even with required module

Hello,

When I try to rename an audio device in pavucontrol with pipewire-pulse an error appear with the message "You need to load module-device-manager in the PulseAudio server in order to rename devices", but module-device-manager is active. I reloaded it with "pactl unload-module module-device-manager && pactl load-module module-device-manager", then I rebooted the PC and still the error message.

wireplumber/pipewire use some different logic for that and it's likely that's one of the cases where pipewire's server implementation does not match one to one.

You're trying to rename which identifier to what and where and why? See e.g. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/WirePl … e_property for changing the node.nick

My i3status %devicename show the device port name. Adding/Renaming nick and description doesn't resolve.
