Re: Random black screen when resuming from suspend with a Bluetooth device

Even connecting my headset from the Ubuntu live session works now... strange.
I guess there is something wrong with my BT configuration on Arch.

Re: Random black screen when resuming from suspend with a Bluetooth device

Couldn't do that, since it requires connecting the headset to Linux

No? How so? Why? No.
You're supposed to extract the key from windows and alter the configuration file on linux to use that key which *then* shall allow you to connect that device.

Does it btw. work w/ the arch install iso?
The ACPI typically understands that you're booting a life-medium and not restore a hibernating session what would make me look into the windows fast-start situation again and intensely.

That's what I did, but the Wiki says I first need to pair it on Arch :

ArchWiki wrote:

To do this, first pair your device on your Arch Linux install.

So I skipped this step and followed the rest of the tutorial, but I still couldn't connect to the headset.

I'll check that and try disabling Windows fast-start, even though I already checked that it was disabled.

Re: Random black screen when resuming from suspend with a Bluetooth device

I ran "powercfg /H off" in CMD as admin, and rebooted Windows twice, then Linux twice, as recommended by you in #12, and the problem persists.

Re: Random black screen when resuming from suspend with a Bluetooth device

That step is only requried to puplate /var/lib/bluetooth/ - what should be present since you already have connected the device before, no?

Speaking of it, you could also try to move that directory away "sudo mv /var/lib/bluetooth /var/lib/greentooth" (stop all BT before and restart it afterwards or alter the directory offline, eg. when mounting the partition from the ubuntu boot or whatever)

Well... that's the thing: I unpaired the headset, hoping I could pair it again, so its folder disappeared from /var/lib/bluetooth/my-adapter.
I just tried copying the folder from my laptop where I paired the headset successfully, to my desktop, and modify the key in the "info" file, but the problem persists.

I tried it but it doesn't solve the issue.

Re: Random black screen when resuming from suspend with a Bluetooth device

Weird... I removed the newly created /var/lib/bluetooth and restored the previous version, then rebooted, and now, my headset connects to Arch again!
