Re: [solved] lag browsers

You're supposed to post the output of the command in #2 and in case this is wayland to check whether the affected windows (browsers) are running on xwayland.

Hardly.

Add "free -h" and stop posting images of text, post the text.

This is going nowhere…

I've no idea about kdiskfree, but your swap is available and you're noway nearly OOM - maybe start answering the questions in #2…

Re: [solved] lag browsers

Please use [code][/code] tags. Edit your post in this regard.

You're on "Operation Mode: X11" so it's not about xwayland windows.
The only reasonable explanation is that the browser™ notices the minimization, discards (despite likely not being unmapped) and completele re-renders when shown (what's typically very expensive)

Does this also happen when the browser has only an (empty) text file open?

echo bar > /tmp/foo

file:///tmp/foo

Re: [solved] lag browsers

Idk what I'm looking at there, but browsers render slow.
Unless

also if empty This problem is happened most of the time, but now it works well

you can (again) reproduce this with some trivial browser content, that's not much to phone home about.

What does the browser report in about:gpu ?

Re: [solved] lag browsers

Same KDE (version), same browser (version)?

In theory, if the compositor was just filtering the window texture, this takes exactly no time to show/hide - what's obviously not the case.
So the browser will intercept the mimization (or be actually unmapped) and require a complete re-render (which performs based on the content)

None of the posted output is "about:gpu", type that into the URL bar of the browser - though I'm not sure this is even relevant, the slow part about rendering "modern" webpages is typically all the JS s…tuff.

HW acceleration in the browser is completely off, but as mentioned I don't even think that's what causes it to render slow.

Solved with enabling the browsers HW acceleration or solved withz mate?
