I use KDE connect on my Desktop Computer running Ubuntu with i3WM with no issues.
I am using Arch Linux on my laptop with SWAY and no DE installed.
I've installed KDE connect using pacman
(kdeconnect-cli 24.12.3)
The pacman installation also installed kdeconnect-indicator
Arch linux kernel version is 6.12.23-1-lts
I can ping my phone ip from my laptop and also ping my laptop ip from my phone successfully
Phone is android and on the same home network as my Desktop and Laptop computers. I do not use any firewall software
Phone is on, kde phone app is running.
output from kdeconnect-cli -l:
0 devices found
I use nftables and have tried disabling nftables with no effect on the problem.
Any help would be appreciated. Please inform me of any further required info to assist if necessary.
Thanks in advance

I encountered the same problem as you, and I've tried many methods but haven't solved it yet. Have you solved it?

I got it to work by using the instructions here
https://userbase.kde.org/KDEConnect#I_h … each_other
Used the IP Tables section
Find your interface name by using "ip a"
