I know this is a known issue with mesa and firefox, but is there a fix to this?

GCVM_L2_PROTECTION_FAULT_STATUS is caused somewhere deep in the driver/firmware and very hard to troubleshoot .
firefox and KDE seem to be "better" at exposing this error, but neither cause it.
There a few options that can mitigate the issue for some people :
ensure you are running the latest firmware for your system
try older kernels
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
