Zoom Screen Share not working

Hi, I'm somewhat of a newbie when it comes to Wayland related stuff. Happy to dig in on my own as much as possible, really looking to be pointed in the right directions.
I am using River (Wayland/wlroots) and whenever I try to screen share in Zoom, it just shows the options Use system desktop capture and Use system window capture, neither of which do anything when clicked. No apps or screens are shown to pick from for sharing.

I may be missing some basic package.

I have pipewire installed and the Screen capture mode on Wayland setting in Zoom is set to Pipewire Mode.

Zoom also crashed intermittenly, usually on joining a new meeting; unclear yet whether its a related issue.

I've looked through quite a few posts with various fixes and have frankly lost track of most of them but I'll try to list the pertinent files I've looked at / touched in the process.

I did notice that if I set xwayland to false, zoom was extremely slow.

I'm not familiar with egl-wayland/NVIDIA on wayland. But,
1. [deleted as already covered]

2. How did you logined with river?(Display Manager,tty+shell,etc...) Correct dbus session is needed. Moreover, I recommend to install dbus-broker-units.

3. Can you share screen with Chromium or Firefox ?

4.(Very bad idea) Try aur/zoom-system-qt .

2. I just login at the terminal on start up and either type `river` or run a little startup script:

3. I can't share screen on Firefox/Librewolf, testing with Google Meet. I get the same option that doesn't do anything.

I think you are getting to the right place with the dbus session comment, but I don't really know how to debug / dig into that.

I swapped outthe nvidia for a radeon, then for just running through the motherboard display port, same outcome.

I may I can't help you. Is the radeon gpu dGPU, or iGPU? Write also generation of it.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478309 seems just using Xwayland in my understanding.

I removed that gpu since the specific gpu doesn't seem to have an effect.
I tried running OBS and got:

It really feels like I just don't have some configuration file right. But honestly all the documentation on the configuration files feels inconsistent so I have no way to verify.
