After multiple attempts from different Linux systems (arch, Kali, mint, tails with full install and from a live boot) all with latest installed software I am still unable to restore multiple Timeshift RSYNC full system snapshot (including all directories etc).
This problem has now been going on for like 10 days and I am really desperate as I have now lost two full Hyprland system configurations (but a few dot files I copied thought mounting).
What I know:
The snapshots are alright since I previously was able to make a fully functional restore with them
The snapshots are restorable but only from the system they were made on (so I could restore the snapshot from yesterday but not the one from the other system)
Timeshift doesn't seem at fault because I used the latest version across multiple distros
The first important error I get is that the /run/timeshift/1564/restore/dev and restore/dev/pts .../proc /run /sys don't exist and that they have failed being mounted (and later being unmounted)
After that I'm the chroot it failed to run grub-install, mkinitcpio and grub-mkconfig cuz there are no files called that (presumable cuz the mount failed)
I have no idea why it didn't work, I as well tried arch-chrooting into the system and mkinitcpio-ing but that didn't work neither...
Pls help, I'm mentally exhausted and crippled cuz of this
Which other information could help?
