Hi all
Not my first installation but i am in big trouble now. I tested another distro and reverted back to arch. So I reinstalled everything from fresh iso.
At reboot, refind is booting but does not find the / partition and therefore i get an emergency shell.
Error is like "mount: /new_root: wrong fs type, bad option...." "Error: failed to mount '' on real root".
Fact is that if i generate fstab with Uuid or device name, the refind entry is either uuid or empty...
Not sure if the issue is refind or the installation.
On top i had w11 in parallel and accidentaly erase the content of the efi boot partition... Another issue to solve.
I pay cash my infidelity to arch

fstab has nothing to do with this. How, exactly, are you configuring refind?

Well simply with refind-install (as always)

So you're not configuring it at all. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/REFInd#Configuration

pretty confusing, as I do not remember having to do something else than refind-install... anyway typing this from manjaro as quick and easy fix - let's see how it will turn out
