[SOLVED] Old kernel images are not deleted from /boot automatically

Hi,
Here is my installed kernels:

$ pacman -Q | grep "^linux"
linux-api-headers 6.14-1
linux-firmware 20250408.c1a774f3-1
linux-firmware-whence 20250408.c1a774f3-1
linux-zen 6.14.3.zen1-1
linux-zen-headers 6.14.3.zen1-1

In the same time, I have a bunch of old image files in my /boot:

$ ls /boot
EFI
System.map-6.13.10-200.fc41.x86_64
System.map-6.13.9-200.fc41.x86_64
System.map-6.14.2-300.fc42.x86_64
config-6.13.10-200.fc41.x86_64
config-6.13.9-200.fc41.x86_64
config-6.14.2-300.fc42.x86_64

initramfs-linux-zen-fallback.img
initramfs-linux-zen.img

mount.sh
symvers-6.13.10-200.fc41.x86_64.xz
symvers-6.13.9-200.fc41.x86_64.xz
symvers-6.14.2-300.fc42.x86_64.xz
vmlinuz-0-rescue-4f7bc2f47d9240e5869a6f16d2efbb71
vmlinuz-6.13.10-200.fc41.x86_64
vmlinuz-6.13.9-200.fc41.x86_64
vmlinuz-6.14.2-300.fc42.x86_64
vmlinuz-linux-zen

Shouldn't they be deleted by pacman when updating kernel?

Re: [SOLVED] Old kernel images are not deleted from /boot automatically

Aren't those kernels from another distro? Fedora for *.fc*

ArchLinux would not remove those, at most it removes its own files.

Sorry, my bad...
Apparently I forgot to format /boot partition.
Did that now, reinstalled kernel and grub, and it's working! Loving Arch more and more every day.
