change the prompt

how can I chang the login prompt in  the command line interface?
For the moment  it is

Arch Linux 0.8 (Voodoo) ...

here my .bashrc, it's a little overkill, but I like it. (sorry the long post, my server where I have stored doesn't work correct right now...)

I'm afraid it's not what he asked about, stingray.

The first line of login prompt is defined in /etc/issue (note the special char in first line, it's used to clear the screen). I don't know how to customize "login:" line.

I just looked through the man page for agetty (the program responsible for the login prompt, among other things). It doesn't look like it you can customize the prompt.

If you want, you can try downloading another getty.
