Title says everything, I've opened the ports required by Fightcade (6000-6009 UDP, and 7000-7005 TCP)
When checking ports (via KDE's firewall GUI, using ufw), it says 6000-6009 are "Not connected" despite being open
Sometimes matches work, sometimes they don't.

Are you using https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fightcade2 ?
You did configure your internet router to forward traffic on those ports to your system ?

Yes, the AUR package.

No, I only allowed the ports using ufw on my local machine...
Sorry but how do I do that? I'm on a TP-Link Archer C50 if that helps.

https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-c50/ links to a video about port forwarding with an archer A7 .
Note that if the archer is not the gateway router that connects you with the internet you may have to configure more .
Do you know someone who has flightcade2 working for them ?
If so you can try connecting with your system from their network to verify flightcade2 works then.
If it doesn't this still may be an arch issue.

It's not an Arch issue apparently, I tried on Windows, too...
Apparently it's got something to do with my ISP
Please excuse me for the inconvenience.
