Duplicated sddm screen

Hello everyone,

I’m running Arch Linux with KDE Plasma and Hyprland (using Hyprland as my current window manager) on a laptop with an RTX 3060. If it matters, I setup optimus manager in KDE Plasma and set it to exclusive GPU mode. My setup includes a 1080p laptop display and a 1440p external monitor. Currently, the SDDM login screen mirrors the 1080p display onto the external monitor as shown in the photo. Is it possible for SDDM to detect the external monitor automatically and display the login screen only on the 1440p display when connected?

"xrandr | grep -w connected" shows:

HDMI-0 connected primary 2560x1440+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 597mm x 336mm
eDP-1-1 connected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

and i tried putting:

xrandr --output HDMI-0 --auto --primary --output eDP-1-1 --off

in /usr/share/sddm/scripts/Xsetup. And it didn't work. Perhaps i did it wrong.
