Hi there,
When running
sudo pacman -SyuPacman ends up trying to download gtk-update-icon-cache-1:4.18.5-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst which seemingly is non existent in any of the repos I have (even though I updated the list from the Arch Linux mirror list web page.

I think I have to mention that this arch install hasn't been updated since 2022.

While the repo cleanup might become an issue, and despite the status, eg. https://mirror.dogado.de/archlinux/extr … kg.tar.zst is indeed 404 but et. http://archlinux.thaller.ws/extra/os/x8 … kg.tar.zst is not

Hi, thank you for your reply. I did come across that information and modified my pacman.conf file accordingly. It only includes [core] and [extra] now.
I'm trying to do incremental updates right now using archive.archlinux.org as in
Server = https://archive.archlinux.org/repos/2024/02/01/$repo/os/$archOffline

Thank you for finding that mirror. After a couple of cache clearing and retrials, it went tip top.
I vaguely remember that I have to mark this post as SOLVED but I can't find where to edit the title. My apologies.
