chrome(ium)-136 insanity

I don't have Chrome browser itself intalled, but on both the latest ungoogled-chromium (136.0.7103.59-1) and brave (1.78.94-1) the right click context menu and related fuctions are completely messed up. If I even try to right-click an image, the context menu closes as soon as i release the mouse button, and the image automatically, without user consent, opens on a new tab!!!

I've been going through the release notes of chrome-136, but I don't see anything what could cause this kind of behavior. How the H**L I'm going to get the old, reliable right-click behavior back? Any ideas???

This ruins the whole browsing experience especially on social media sites...
