Is it possible that connection to Bluetooth 3.0 mice devices is also broken?

Did your issue start with 6.14.4? Is your issue resolved by applying https://lore.kernel.org/linux-bluetooth … gmail.com/?

Please try the following, it's the latest mainline tag + the problematic commit reverted:

sudo pacman -U https://pkgbuild.com/\~gromit/linux-bisection-kernels/linux-mainline-6.15rc4-1.1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Sorry I never responded to this. The kernel above did resolve the problem. I have been running it quite happily the past week with zero issues.
Played a few games with the controller working perfectly, along with everything else on my Framework 16.
Even my wifi7 card (ath12k module) is working perfectly on this kernel where it had some issues on the arch kernel (not showing speed, locking up when switching off bt or wifi).

How can I follow the merge to current kernel ?
6.14.5 does not seem to include the patch.

I wonder if I should wait for 6.14.x, switch to mainline, or I don't know maybe make a module ?

Re: [Solved] Linux-6.14.4 give error with Bluetooth and DS4

The fix is currently in this pull request from the bluetooth to  netdev https://lore.kernel.org/netdev/20250507 … gmail.com/ assuming that is accepted it will be included in netdev's next pull request to mainline after that it will be queued for stable. Someone affected could also open an issue on Arch's gitlab instance asking for the fix to be applied locally.

Great thank you, this does not seem to worry too much people and in the end a simple downgrade should do the trick until maybe a couple of months.

I miss my mouse somewhat sad
Therefore I opted to ask our maintainers. The patch is now available upstream in the bluetooth tree:

Then why aren't you still running on 6.13 which you reported as still working?
Or any of the mainline kernels posted in here that seem to resolve the problem?

Honestly, I'd rather run a working kernel than deal with broken stuff and have to wait. Doesn't quite make sense to me.

hoschi has not indicated in this thread or in https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … issues/137 having tested the patch and that it resolves the issue on their system before requesting the commit be applied.
Edit:
The bluetooth pull request did not make [GIT PULL] Networking for v6.15-rc6.

I've applied the patch to 6.14.6 and it works successfully.
My mouse (ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse) successfully connects to the built-in bluetooth adapter of my ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 AMD (Qualcomm Technologies, Inc QCNFA765 Wireless Network Adapter).
