Steam Segmentation Fault at startup in lib32-libX11.so.6 on xfce4

Everytime i run steam or steam-native on xfce4 i get a steam.sh segfault on line 978.

Debugging with coredumpctl debug steam i see that this is the issue that causes the segfault:

Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
#0  0xef2b95a7 in _XEventsQueued () from /usr/lib32/libX11.so.6

Issue only happens on xfce4, steam boots up and works perfectly on i3wm.
