Wired mouse keeps disconnecting

This only started happening very recently, within the last day. The mouse works completely fine if I keep it stationed on the mousepad, but my desk doesn't have a lot of real estate, so very often I have to subtly lift my mouse off the mousepad to reposition it. When the mouse gets lifted off the surface is when the disconnects happen. I've never needed them before, but in the wake of this problem I tried installing and configuring the openrazer packages just as a hope that it would extend some sort of driver support that would've fixed the problem, but unfortunately it didn't work. I'm not sure what else to try so I'm hoping someone on these forums can help. I opened

journalctl -f

in my terminal and took note of all the logs that popped up during the disconnect:

Re: Wired mouse keeps disconnecting

I should also note, I've tried this mouse on other hardware/other systems (my laptop running Fedora cosmic spin and a spare laptop running windows 11) and the issue does not occur on those systems. I've also tried different USB ports to ensure that the specific USB port I was using wasn't faulty. I've also tried other mice, which don't reproduce the problem. So the issue is specifically on my Arch system with that specific Razer Deathadder V3 mouse.

You've duplicated the raising/lowering action on those other systems, too (to rule out a bad cable connection at the mouse)?
