64 bit repos

is there a way, like you can with the regular repo's, get an rss feed when a new package is released? i rely on this to judge when i need to do a Syu... plus i like reading about packages i don't have, but a couple times since i have switched to arch64, the program hasn't been available in the 64bit repos.

edit: and the community repo's for arch64? what is the server? i found one in the forum here, but is there an official one? or just whatever is out there?

thanks

Re: 64 bit repos

Dunno about RSS, but about repos - there IS community repo:

[community]
Include = /etc/pacman.d/community

Some users run their own arch64 repos, you can check my own - link is in my signature

Re: 64 bit repos

Hi,

there is only the RSS feed on the archlinux.org main site. This feed is for the i686 architecture, that's true. But we are doing our best to keep Arch64 uptodate with the i686 architecture.

At the moment we have current uptodate, in extra there are missing some packages (we are working on it) and community there is a great whole between i686 and Arch64. That's because of the missing manpower by Arch64.
