[Audio] Blocking video playback in browsers

Hello,
I'm using Arch Cinnamon, installed in 2019.
For a few days now, videos haven't started playing, regardless of the browser (Firefox, Brave, etc.).
I found a workaround with the sound settings.
I switched the internal audio output to a S/PDIF digital output, which unlocked the video without sound.
I switched back to the internal audio output, and the sound then worked.
But for the next video, I had to repeat the switch.
I'm wondering: is this a bug from an update or a system issue?
If the latter, what could be causing this? I reinstalled Alsa and Pulseaudio without any changes.
Thank you for your help.

Re: [Audio] Blocking video playback in browsers

In the end, I replaced pulseaudio with pirewire and everything was back to normal.
Thanks for the help.
