i use qbittorrent-nox@user.service to run qbittorrent-nox with specific user instead of default qbt user, but on every pacman update the download folder /var/lib/qbittorrent changes the user:group to qbt, which is really annoying.
how can I make the folder user/group don't change?

Mask /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/qbittorrent.conf via a /dev/null symlink in /etc/tmpfiles.d/qbittorrent.conf -- though it feels somewhat weird to use the system path when not wanting to use the corresponding user as well, vut you'll have your reasons.

oh thank you! very helpful
ya it's weired to use /var/lib path when I run qb as user.. but you know in QB 4 it doesn't have default user and every package uses /var/lib path so in order to make different package uses same folder I change the group and permissions to /var/lib and it's easier than change every package to use home path.. (and, I use different HDD for /var to allow it stores more data) so .... when qb upgrade to 5 and create the new user, (and overwrite the permission) , things ruins

If you consider this [SOLVED] please consider marking it as such by editing the title in your first post (might have to shorten it a little)
