SOLVED acpi package

Hi
Ive been following the wiki
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beg … cy_scaling
but have come to a problem with acpi
I intalled it as it suggests but there is no acpi daemon in /etc/rc.d/

Is the wiki wrong or is the package broken?

(im using acpi0.09-1)

think the wiki is wrong.  try installing acpid

that fixed the problem thanks

so simple i cant believe i didnt think of it
I fixed the wiki so now i feel usefull again
