How to use xrandr to avoid damaged areas on the screen

https://img.picui.cn/free/2025/05/17/6828693732a7d.jpeg
Sometimes it's very annoying because it always flashes. The width of the damaged part is approximately 10 pixels. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Which of those works highly depends on your hardware/driver (for nvidia you'll need to add  a metamode, I'm not sure this has been wired to randr transformations but nvidia-settings has a rather convenient GUI for it)

Re: How to use xrandr to avoid damaged areas on the screen

I tried to use the -panning parameter but reported an Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes).

lspci | grep -i vga
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)

It seems that things are more complicated than I imagined hmm
