I'm using the code package (currently at 1.100.2-1) from the official repositories and I am unable to install or update any extensions from the built-in OpenVSX registry. This was working fine a few weeks ago. When trying to install an extension, I see the following error message:
Cannot install '<EXTENSION NAME>' extension because Code - OSS cannot verify the extension signature
Signature verification failed with 'UnknownError' error.
I tested the same with VSCodium from the AUR and the issue does not exist there. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I had the same issue. Installing AUR 'code-marketplace' resolved it. I found the solution in this GitHub thread (https://github.com/termux/termux-packages/issues/24739).

For reference, there is also an issue for the package (https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … /issues/10), in the upstream repository (https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/248597) and I've created one with Open VSX (https://github.com/eclipse/openvsx/issues/1247).
