Sony Vaio VGN-A397XP Sata Problem

Hi there,

I'm trying to install Arch on the Sony Vaio VGN-A397XP Laptop. The Problem is the setup kernel won't "see" my HDD because it seem's to have trouble with the sata controller. the Chipset is an Intel 82801FBM aka. ICH6-M. I'm using the AHCI Module.

I didn't find anything usefull via google, but it seems its not a "real" sata controller but something like IDE to SATA.

Any hints helping me out would be appericated.

Thanks in advance,
Max
