KDE Plasma: Notifications pop-ups are no longer clickable

I'm no longer able to click on notifications from apps such as Vesktop, Telegram, Thunderbird, KDE Connect, etc, to bring up their associated window. This was possible before 6.3, and after 6.3 released. Now the notification popups are not readable, and instead of them being clickable I can.. select the text in them. I don't remember if this was possible before, but if it was, I never noticed because the window would just open after I click the pop-up. I also can't click them from the notification tray anymore.

I assume there's a relevant setting that I somehow indirectly toggled off, but I can't find it anywhere. Any troubleshooting advice would be welcomed; I find instant messaging and emails not so comfortable to use with my workflow now since this started to happen..

For clarification I'm on a Wayland session using nvidia-dkms (4000 series), if that matters at all.

Re: KDE Plasma: Notifications pop-ups are no longer clickable

Experiencing the same issue still on two systems: A laptop and a desktop. Plasma 6.3.5

Anyone find a fix, or at least an open issue on their gitlab?

for me it was bad plasmoid that broke it. that particular plasmoid got fixed a long time ago. do you still experience it in the default plasma config?
