Sudden Laptop Shutdowns on Arch Linux

I'm experiencing sudden shutdowns on my laptop running Arch Linux. The shutdowns are not graceful; the laptop powers off just on the fly, often when watching YouTube videos at 1080p resolution. I also noticed that my CPU fan is not spinning, and sometimes the CPU seems to be under heavy load, which might be related but i previously used Windows on the same laptop and never had this issue. After switching to Arch Linux, the problem started. I’ve already installed and configured thermald and cpupower to manage thermals and CPU performance, but this still happend.

please if someone can help me with this, i dont know what to do anymore.

Re: Sudden Laptop Shutdowns on Arch Linux

Causes are:
- underpowered
- overheated
- broekn cpu
- broken RAM

When watching por… youtube videos, does the system approach critical temperatures?
