[FIXED] update throws an error

Just updated system and met with this error. Need help to fix it . Thanks

/usr/bin/gconftool-2: error while loading shared libraries: libxml2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

sudo pacman -Syy fixed the issue.

No it didn't. That just wasted mirror bandwidth and put you at risk of partial updates.

You likely just need(ed?) to rebuild the gconf package. Or uninstall it if you no longer need it.
