I just used the beginner guide fromm the arch wiki and found it realy good. Fastest my laptop has ever run:), but u will need a internet connection on your computer to do it.
try plug in the ethernet cable and install the ipw2200-fw package which is needed for your card. Setting up is all in the wiki.
