you *install* (no need to unpack a package ; otherwise they wouldn't be packages(1)) it like posted in my previous post.
Now pliz Ark jump to the install guide & have a look at, seriously. Or would you like someone to copy paste it here ?

I just used the beginner guide fromm the arch wiki and found it realy good. Fastest my laptop has ever run:), but u will need a internet connection on your computer to do it.
try plug in the ethernet cable and install the ipw2200-fw package which is needed for your card. Setting up is all in the wiki.

Ok, I'll stop being a n00b and look at the wiki before I ask questions from now on I went with your advize kozaki, and got underground, gonna go install it now, thanks for everything!
