Hello, I have had plenty of issues getting VR to work on my Arch installation. After lots of trial and error, I got it to work flawlessly! No visual stuttering, nauseau inducing motion smoothing, or any of the traditional issues that plagued VR in the past.
Well, except for getting audio output to work on my headset. For whatever reason, my system is not detecting the headset as a valid output device, much less allowing me to forward audio to it.
I tried searching all around for solutions for my problem, or even is causing my problem.
In pauvucontrol and the provided KDE sound settings, the headset [bold]MIC[/bold] is detected and automatically selected, but not the headset speakers.
One post I saw earlier had a user run the following commands, but being a newbie, I'm not sure how to use the output to solve my problem:

In order to get audio on the Index, you'll need to switch to hdmi-stereo-extra2 profile. On my side it's done automatically when starting SteamVR, not sure why it doesn't work for you. (Maybe it's because I use an AMD GPU?)
