I have used archinstall to install arch linux into my laptop with a GNOME desktop environment. I wanted to switch to hyprland and installed it using "sudo pacman -S hyprland", but when I try to run it I keep getting an error saying that I don't have the required version of "wl_seat". I have looked a solution to update the "wl_seat" to the required version but I couldn't get any. Can anyone help me with this please?

Update: I have solved the problem by running hyprland on the TTY. I have been using the GNOME terminal all along ??

Well, yeah - don't try to start hyprland out of gnome?
You can launch that from GDM or the console, but it runs *instead* of gnome, not on top.
Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
