Hello,
I've been using i3 with Arch Linux (Xorg) for a long time, and I recently switched to Sway (Wayland). I'm facing an issue with setting a custom resolution for my external display.
Under Xorg, I used to create a custom 1368x768 resolution for my TV connected via HDMI-1 using `xrandr`, which worked without any problem.
However, I’m unable to do the same under Wayland. I understand `xrandr` doesn't work here, and I’ve tried reading about custom EDID generation and other suggestions from forums/blogs, but none of them have worked so far.
Can someone please guide me through the proper Wayland-compatible method to apply a custom resolution (1368x768) for a TV connected to HDMI-1? Beginner-friendly, step-by-step instructions would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.
