rlocate - cron job crash

Rlocate works like a charm. I can do 'sudo updatedb' and it is ok. Problem is that cron job as delivered by the package hangs.

This happens always after daily cron job has been run. only kill -9 works to the problem and after that I have to rm the db files and create them again.

Would rlocate work if I dont use updatedb at all?

Lovely program, but it is a pain in the ass
