I have this loud annoying clicking sound mostly whenever stopping and starting audio. Especially annoying when stopping YouTube videos. Happens with any audio outside of Firefox also though. I have tried every fix under the sun but nothing works. I do not hear any such clicking noises when pausing videos on Windows. A fairly standard Arch install using Pipewire / Wireplumber.
Also I don't know if its related, but scrolling the audio icon up/down on KDE also has very loud, crackling, bad sounding audio.

Power saving on my sound module is totally disabled

What is causing this terrible sound?
There also seems to be a kernel bug report that sounds like a similar issue

EDIT:
I found this interesting information about pipewire filters, and one called Draining, which sounds like it may help with my popping issue on playback/pausing.
But, I've tried for a few hours now. And I just cannot figure out how to properly setup these pipewire filters, and everytime I try, my audio just breaks. Anyone have any clue?
