Hello o/
This is a problem caused by the "ddcutil" package in version 2.2.0, it has been reported that it will be fixed in the next version. (Source: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=500843)
What you can do like I did is downgrade ddcutil to version 2.1.4 using the archive (https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/d/ddcutil/) and ignore the package update editing pacman.conf until next update OR
build version 2.2.1-dev yourself.
