[SOLVED] Syncthing stopped working; devices recognize, but do not sync

Relevant details:
OS installed via archinstall
Firewalld + nftables installed and used

Hi, I'm having a bizarre problem. It seems a couple of applications (IRC and Syncthing) have randomly broken. This happened after I both configured SASL for IRC, and performed a full system upgrade; however, I don't know if those two actions caused this problem.

For IRC, it will get stuck in a loop of trying to connect to the server, but my hostname could not be looked up or my identity responded to, and it will complain that my SASL authentication failed.

It was only today that my Syncthing installation broke. On both devices, it shows that both listeners are connected, but the discovery status will switch from failing to succeeding, with the failure message displaying:

 IPv4 local: write udp4 0.0.0.0:xxxxx->192.xxxxxx:xxxxxx: sendto: operation not permitted 

However, I am not sure what information I'm missing or not paying attention to, what logs or output should I upload here to help give more information on this problem?

I am not sure if this is a config error caused by me.

EDIT
The two issues were completely unrelated. To resolve my Syncthing problem, I had to kill the syncthing service and restart BOTH devices.

The two things don’t seem to be related. Let’s just assume nothing beyond coincidence.

For the IRC part, you are connecting fine. The warning about no ident response is expected and benign. What fails is an attempt to log in to your Libera account. For debugging the issue, join #libera and explain the situation there. You may use the web client, without logging in, too. Since you didn’t include that crucial information here, please remember to tell that in #libera: what client you’re using and what SASL method is being configured.

My apologies, I just got started with IRC so I am still trying to get used to everything.
As for Syncthing, it am almost positive it could be a firewalld or whatnot issue. Looking at the firewalld interfact, it displays no connections in the Active Interfaces tab. Running firewall-cmd --check-config returned a ton of Operation not permitted errors.
