"port is slow to respond"

Hi,

Is there any progress in fixing bug with "port is slow to respond" during boot?

It started from 2.6.18, it happens only on specific computers (one of them does not contain anything from Intel) and it slowdows boot a lot.

Have you seen this error? Have you managed to fix it? Current kernel26 didn't help.

PS.

Re: "port is slow to respond"

I had this problem on my laptop, I wasn't bothered to fix it, and after alot of reboots (and alot of times letting my laptop just die from lack of battery power) fixed it.

Don't know why.
