How long does it usually take for a new laptop to be "supported"?

I'm looking at the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s (AMD) Gen 6 which is very recent and curious how long it would take for a page to be made? I assume it's not always a fair assumption to assume that if the last one works, so should the new one?
